Condition analysis

Condition analysis

What  is the status your crane and what is the remaining lifetime?

All cranes have a limited  life. The manufacturer of the crane determines the theoretical  lifetime during manufacture. When this is achieved or when you are uncertain that the crane can live up to increased production requirements or change purpose of handling the crane, then it is time for a condition analysis.

With Cranemech Conditional Analysis you get a thorough evaluation of the condition of your crane and a theoretical estimate of remaining lifetime. The analysis includes mechanical parts, electrical components, control systems and construction. The conditional analysis highlights any shortcomings and proposals for actions or modernizations where all are presented in a detailed protocol.

It is also a requirement according to AFS 2006: 6 that a condition analysis must be carried out when the lifting device approaches its constructive  lifetime.
